Energise Marketing Agency (Energise) will not be liable for loss, damage or injury to persons or property, howsoever caused, save where liability is expressly imposed beyond exclusion by statute.

If you access the Energise website via a link in a personal email sent to you, or send an enquiry via an online form, or sign up for any course or event we do record this information and may contact you to offer our assistance.

Definitions:

“Course” means any short course, apprenticeship or online course run by Energise.

“Attendee” means any individual attending a course run by Energise.

“Event” means any physical or online gathering run by Energise.

ENROLMENTS

Courses or events may need sufficient numbers to run.

All courses and events are filled on a first come, first served basis as attendance numbers may be limited.

Enrolment for courses is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Enrolment for events is confirmed either by receipt of payment for paid events or by a confirmation email.

It is our policy that no printed copies of material or PowerPoint presentations be distributed to the course participants.

CANCELLATION BY ENERGISE

All our courses require a minimum number of registrations and are dependent on tutor availability for content delivery.

Energise reserves the right to cancel a course or event, or to change the date, time or venue of any course.

A change in the government mandated Covid-19 Protection Framework conditions or “traffic light colour” may affect the running of courses or events. Should this happen Energise reserves the right to cancel, postpone or offer the course (or part thereof) or event via online methods instead of on location.

The content and delivery method of courses may be adapted without prior notice at the discretion of Energise.

If a course or event is cancelled by Energise prior to its commencement or if the rescheduled course dates do not suit the registrant, any fees paid will be refunded in full.

Energise is not responsible for travel or any related costs incurred by attendees.

Energise may suspend or cancel a registration if false information has been supplied. Under such circumstances the amount to be refunded (if any) is at the sole discretion of Energise.

CANCELLATION BY ATTENDEE

Cancellation of enrolment must be received in writing to the email address: SHE@energise.net.nz

A substitute attendee may be enrolled with at least two days advance notice before the course commencement or event by writing to the email address: SHE@energise.net.nz

Any cancellation refunds will be in accordance with the refund table outlined below.

Energise will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by attendees.

CROWD RELEASE CONSENT

By attending an Energise course or event you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

By entering the course or event premises, you consent to any interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, news, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Energise and its affiliates and suppliers. Images and/or video may be used to promote similar courses in the future, highlight the course and promote the work of Energise.

By entering the course premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claim for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these materials.

Energise owns all copyright and other intellectual property rights in this website. All rights are reserved. All pages and content within this website including online courses or events are the property of Energise and are subject to copyright even when not expressly stated.

DISPUTES

 

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to this site or to products & services purchased are governed by the law in force in New Zealand. Any disputes about transactions formed between Energise and the customer by way of electronic transactions through this website will be resolved according to arbitration.

You must not use this website or its services to threaten, abuse, defame, harass or stalk others. Your contributions must be civil, tasteful, constructive and polite. Energise will exert editorial control and access to courses and events at its own discretion.
