The Marketing Association held their inaugural B2B Marketing Conference at Eden Park last week.  As this is one of Energise’s areas of speciality, I went along to hear the range of both local and international case studies and keynote speakers.

Having B2B business and marketing leaders together in one place was an excellent opportunity to connect and discuss our unique challenges and opportunities.  However, for me the real highlights of the day were:

Interactive panel session: Account-Based Marketing: How to target high-value accounts to grow your business.

This panel featured industry leaders including Michael McGlynn of Tonkin and Taylor and Nadia Phillips of Umbrellar.  The panel provided lots of practical advice based on their real-life experiences

International Keynote speaker Doug Kessler of Velocity Partners

Doug’s session was live-streamed from the UK and he spoke on “Managing your Goddamn Stakeholders – the single most important success factor in B2B marketing” The opportunity to hear directly was a true thought leader was incredibly inspiring.
