In honour of International Women’s Day, we’ve declared March Women’s Month here at Energise. To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a range of women focused resources including books, events and articles to inspire you.

International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8th March, it’s a time to celebrate the achievements of women in all fields.  The theme for 2021 was Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World. The Motherhood Penalty

To mark International Women’s Day this year, Global Women New Zealand has released a new campaign aimed at highlighting and challenging the Motherhood Penalty.  On average, mothers earn 12% less than fathers of the same age and education over their careers.

SHE Launch event

SHE is a new initiative by our sister brand SME School.  The team over at SME School has created a unique space for business women to lift each other up.  The launch event was held last week and we’ve got all the details (including photos!) here.

Women in Marketing 2021

The Marketing Association is holding their annual Women in Marketing event on Wednesday 7th April.  If you’re a woman in marketing or a marketer who targets women with your advertising, book your seat now.

SHE Networking event – May

If you’d like to join other like minded business women who are looking for a little bit more, the next free SHE networking event is on 4th May 2021. 

The evening will feature a panel of 4 SME entrepreneurs who have successfully developed and grown their own businesses.  The panel will share their stories and inside tips with attendees.  Keep an eye on our Facebook and LinkedIn, for more details – names of the panel participants and event registrations will be released soon.
